Paul Reisser
Paul Reisser (born March 21, 1843 in Esslingen ; † June 1927 ) was a Württemberg pioneer in electrical engineering .
Life
Paul Reisser studied at the Stuttgart Polytechnic and became a member of the Corps Stauffia . After seeing the first electric light bulbs at the international electricity exhibition in Paris in 1881 , he began building electrical lighting systems in Stuttgart the following year . In February 1882 he started up the first demonstration system with a Gramme machine in Stuttgart with 2 kW and 65 volts for 30 light bulbs.
In 1900 he founded the Waldsee - Aulendorf electricity company . Five years later he had to give up sole ownership and convert the company into a stock corporation.
The TH Stuttgart appointed him Dr. hc of engineering.
