Paul Sahlin (born March 30, 1955 in Trollhättan ) is a Swedish composer and dansband singer.

The producer Bert Karlsson signed Paul Sahlin, under the pseudonym Paul Paljett, as one of his first artists in the 1970s. Paul Sahlin played in the group Byxan Boys , with whom he produced the well-known songs Flyg min fjäril flyg , Jag vill ge dig ett äventyr and Guenerina , the latter arranged by Mikael B. Tretow, which was submitted as a contribution to the Melodifestivalen in 1977. 1977 and 1978 were already successful years with record sales and a summer tour.

In 1980 Paul Sahlin entered the Melodifestivalen with the song Tusen sekunder , written by Torgny Söderberg. Sahlin ended his career as a musician in the early 1980s, until he took part in the Melodifestivalen again in 1987 in a duet with Ann Kihlström. He became a singer in the dansband Säwes and produced the hit Du kan alltid lita på pojkarna över 35 with the musician Mats Rådberg .

Paul Sahlin was then singer in the Dansband Mats Bladhs for some time . For the Ny Demokrati party, founded in 1991, he wrote the signature song Häng med, häng med . In addition to music, Paul Sahlin pursued entrepreneurial activities, he ran a discotheque and a hotel in his hometown, today he has a funeral business. Paul Sahlin is active in music with the Dansband Paul Sahlins .
