Paul Salen

Paul Salen (born June 17, 1949 in Veauche , Loire department ) is a French politician . He has been a member of the National Assembly since 2011 .

Salen spent his entire professional life at the Crédit Agricole bank . In 1977 he entered politics when he entered the local council of Veauche. This was followed in 1993 by the election of deputy mayor of the municipality of Montrond-les-Bains . He also moved to the Loire General Council in 1995 and became its Vice-President in 2001. Salen was for many years deputy to the MP Jean-François Chossy . When he withdrew from parliament in 2011, the UMP politician Salen became his successor. In the parliamentary elections in 2012 he was confirmed in office.
