Artjom Chatschaturow ( Russian Артём Хачатуров ; Armenian Արտյոմ Խաչատուրով ; born June 18, 1992 in Bendery , Republic of Moldova ) is a Moldovan- Armenian football player who has been with FC Florești since the beginning of 2020 .
life and career
Artyom Chatschaturow was born in 1992 in Bendery , on the border between the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Transnistria .
The defender got his start in professional football with Sheriff Tiraspol , a first division team in the Moldovan football league. In 2009 he was drafted into the Moldovan U-19 national team. From 2010 to 2013 Khachaturov was part of Sheriff's professional team. He made his UEFA Europa League debut in the 2010/11 season . With Sheriff he won the Moldovan championship three times. In the summer of 2013 he joined local rivals FC Tiraspol . There he was only used irregularly and moved to Zimbru Chișinău in early 2015 . In mid-2015 he moved to Kazakhstan to join Qysylschar Petropavl , before joining FC Zaria Bălți at the beginning of 2016 and celebrating the cup victory there at the end of the season. He spent 2017 with his former club Zimbru Chișinău and since then he has been under contract with FC Lori Vanadzor in Armenia . In February 2020 he then moved on to the Moldovan first division promoted FC Floreşti .
In 2012, Khachaturov, who has an Armenian father, announced that he would now play for the Armenian senior national football team .
