Paul Styger

Paul Styger (born September 27, 1887 in Schwyz , † May 14, 1939 in Lucerne ) was a Swiss Christian archaeologist .

Life

Paul Styger attended the Collegium Germanicum et Hungaricum from 1906 to 1913 and studied philosophy and theology at the Gregorian University . In 1912 he was ordained a priest in Rome for the diocese of Chur . At the end of 1913 he entered the priestly college at Campo Santo Teutonico . From 1921 to 1934 he taught as a professor of Christian archeology and art history at the University of Warsaw.
