Paul Torchy
Paul Albert Torchy (born February 21, 1897 in Rouen , † September 19, 1925 in Lasarte-Oria ) was a French racing driver .
Career
Paul Torchy started the 1923 24 Hours of Le Mans , the first 24 Hours of Le Mans , and finished thirteenth overall at the wheel of a Delage Type DE 11 CV. At the French Grand Prix in 1925 , he and Louis Wagner finished second in a Delage Type 2 LCV .
Torchy died of an accident during the Grand Prix of San Sebastiàn on September 19, 1925, in which he drove his Delage into a tree.
