Paul Valjean
Paul Valjean (born March 31, 1935 in the United States , † June 22, 1992 in Denmark ) was an American choreographer , dancer and actor who lived in Denmark since 1960.
biography
Valjean trained as a musician and then became a dancer. In 1960 he came to Denmark for a week of study and then stayed there for the rest of his life. At first he danced as a pantomime, then in various fields with a preference for underground and suspense theater. He became known to the German audience in particular through the film adaptation of Henry Miller's novel Stille Tage in Clichy in 1970, in which he received the lead role.
