Paul Vogt (politician)

Paul Vogt (born April 5, 1952 in Balzers ) is a Liechtenstein politician. From 1993 to 2009 he was a member of the Liechtenstein Parliament .

biography

Vogt studied history and German in Zurich and Berlin . He has been working in the Liechtenstein National Archives since 1981 , since 2002 as its official director. From 1983 to 1992 he was also a lecturer in history and political science at the evening technical college in Vaduz .

Vogt was first elected to the state parliament of the Principality of Liechtenstein in 1993. Together with Wolfgang Marxer , he was one of the first two members of the Free List . In the following elections, the state archivist and historian managed to defend his mandate. Vogt has been a member of the Foreign Policy Commission in the state parliament since 2005. From 2005 to January 2007 he was parliamentary group spokesman for the Free List in the state parliament. In this role he was replaced by his party colleagues Andrea Matt . He did not run for the 2009 elections. From 1980 to 1995 he represented the Principality of Liechtenstein on the board of the Association for the History of Lake Constance and its Surroundings .

Vogt is married and has two children.
