Paul Wineberger
Paul Anton Wineberger (born October 7, 1758 in Mergentheim , † February 8, 1821 in Hamburg ) was a German cellist , organist , music teacher and composer .
Life
Paul Wineberger studied theology in Würzburg and Heidelberg . From 1778 he worked in Mannheim , under the direction of the ex-Jesuit Alexander Keck , as a music teacher at the "Seminarium musicum" and organist at the Great Court Church . From 1780 Wineberger worked as a cellist in the court orchestra in Wallerstein , and in 1785 he became concertmaster, court composer and music director there. From 1798 on he lived as a cellist and music teacher in Hamburg.
