Paul de Bruyn (manufacturer)

Paul de Bruyn (born November 3, 1880 in Essen , † 1966 ) was a German manufacturer and motorsport official.

Career

De Bruyn studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Hanover and Metallurgy at the Technical University of Aachen . From 1903 on, he was the owner of the mechanical engineering company Debro-Werke Paul de Bruyn KG in Düsseldorf.

In addition to his work as an entrepreneur, he campaigned for the interests of motor racing. He was President of the Rhenish-Westphalian Automobile Club and Sports President of the Automobile Club of Germany (AvD). In addition, from May 1952 to February 1955 he was President of the Supreme National Sports Commission for Motor Sports in Germany (ONS).
