Paul de Graffenried
Paul Bernard de Graffenried de Villars (born June 10, 1900 in Murten , Canton of Friborg , † 1943 ) was a Swiss fencer . He took part in the 1928 Summer Olympics in Amsterdam , the 1932 in Los Angeles and the 1936 in Berlin . He died in 1943.

De Graffenried came from a once noble family. He was the fourth child of Emmanuel de Graffenried-Villars and Charlotte de Saisset, who died in 1916 at the age of 41. His twin brother, Guy Arnold, was also 41 years old. The family became impoverished in the 1930s, but was later active in Formula 1 again .
