Paul van Tongeren

Paul van Tongeren (born August 26, 1950 in Deventer ) is a Dutch philosopher who emerged as a specialist in ethics and Friedrich Nietzsche . He has been a full professor at Radboud University Nijmegen since 1993 .

Career

Paul van Tongeren studied theology and philosophy at the University of Utrecht and the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven . There he completed a dissertation on the criticism of morality under Friedrich Nietzsche. His research revolves around questions of hermeneutics and the history of moral philosophy.
