Paula Demmler , until 1914 Paula Barthold (born February 1, 1891 in Mönchengladbach ; † September 15, 1959 in Düsseldorf ), was a German landscape painter from the Düsseldorf School .
Life
Paula Demmler, daughter of the Düsseldorf pharmacist Johannes Barthold, lived in Düsseldorf with her husband, the painter Willy Hugo Demmler . Among other things, she painted landscapes of the Lower Rhine . Her work shows tendencies towards New Objectivity and a proximity to the style of the painter Theo Champion .
