Lil Mosey (born January 25, 2002 in Seattle ; real name Lathan Moses Echols ) is an American rapper and songwriter from Seattle.
Career
Lil Mosey claims to have come to rap through his brother, who transferred the album Dreams and Nightmares by rapper Meek Mill to his iPod . Then he started using the programs Garageband and Audacity to create his own songs. He later recorded his songs in the studio .
Lil Mosey had his breakthrough in 2017 with the song Pull Up , which has over 25 million views on YouTube. His most successful song is Noticed , which was published on Soundcloud in July 2018. It was published on YouTube by Lyrical Lemonade, a multimedia company run by Cole Bennett, the producer of the music video. There the music video received over 175,000,000 views (as of March 31, 2020). This song is a remake of an older version of the song released under the same name.
His style of music is called Trap with light melodies and Lil Yachty , Lil Tjay and Desiigner are named as similar artists .
Private
According to his own account, Lil Mosey dropped out of school when he was older (he did this in order to devote himself to his music career).
Live performances
Lil Mosey went on tour in June 2019. He also performed at Summer Smash 2019.
In the past he has performed with Juice Wrld , Lil Xan , Smokepurpp and Smooky MarGielaa .
