Paula Trickey
Paula Sue Trickey (born March 27, 1966 in Amarillo , Texas ) is an American actress .
Life
Paula Trickey grew up as the youngest of three daughters in Tulsa , Oklahoma . She attended East Central High School and has appeared in beauty pageants and local commercials during that time. In 1985 she took part as Miss Oklahoma in the All-American Teen Pageant , where she lost to Halle Berry in second place . In the same year she moved to Dallas , where she studied acting and also took part in local film and television productions in addition to other commercials.
Since moving to Los Angeles in 1986 , Trickey has starred in films such as Fatal Desires and The Base, as well as television series such as Baywatch and A Strong Family . She gained greater fame when she played the character of Cory McNamara in 101 episodes of the crime series Pacific Blue from 1996 to 2000 . From 2005 to 2007 she played in the third and fourth seasons of OC, California with Veronica Townsend the mother of Taylor Townsend, played by Autumn Reeser .
Trickey was married to Rich Thurber from 1996 to 2010. They both have one child.
