Paulette Veste
Paulette Veste (divorced Syfrett, second wife Gibbens; * 24. February 1928 in Lespesses ) is a former French putter and discus thrower .
In 1948 she was fourth in the shot put and tenth in the discus throw at the Olympic Games in London , and in 1950 she was sixth in the discus throw and tenth in the shot put at the European Athletics Championships in Brussels .
At the Olympic Games in Helsinki in 1952, she came ninth in the shot put and 16th in the discus throw .
She was French champion three times in the shot put (1949, 1952, 1953) and in the discus throw (1948, 1951, 1952).
