Pauline Gedge

Pauline Gedge (* 1945 in Auckland , New Zealand ) is a writer . She spent her childhood in England from the age of six to fourteen and now lives in Alberta , Canada . Her books have been translated into 18 languages.

Her most famous works are The Mistress of the Nile on the life of the Egyptian Pharaoh Hatshepsut , Pharaoh , The Maiden Thu and the Pharaoh , The Son of Pharaoh , The Mistress Thu and her trilogy of The Ruler of Two Countries , The Foreign Pharaoh , In the Oasis and Contains The Street of Horus .
