Pauline Gistl
Pauline Gistl (born April 8, 1882 ; † July 4, 1959 ; born Bauer ) was a German entrepreneur.
Career
Gistl was the third wife of the glass manufacturer and commercial councilor Isidor Gistl (1868–1950). After his death, she took over the management of the Isidor Gistl crystal glass factory in Frauenau, which her husband had founded .
In June 1957 she was the first woman in Lower Bavaria to be awarded the Cross of Merit 1st Class of the Federal Republic of Germany for her social and economic work . She was also an honorary citizen of Frauenau.
