Pauline Reguig (* 1984 in Toulouse ) is a French violinist .

Life

Pauline Reguig began her violin studies at the age of seven at the National Conservatory of Toulouse in the class of Larissa Kolos.

When she was nine years old, she received first prize in the Leopold Bellan Competition in Paris . As a prize winner of the competitions of the city of Paris, she continued her violin studies in 1997 at the “ Conservatoire Supérieur de Paris ”. In 1999 she received first prize with distinction in the Radio France youth music competition , and in 2002 first prize at the “Conservatoire Supérieur de Paris”. Since then Pauline has been a student of Prof. Petru Munteanu at the HMT Rostock and since 2003 she has also been a member of the Concertino ensemble, with which she a. a. also appears as a soloist and concertmaster in Germany and abroad.

In 2005 she played as a soloist with the Norddeutsche Philharmonie Rostock under the direction of Christian Hammer and with the Concertino.

In 2006 she recorded the program “Stars von Morgen” for NDR . She won the 1st prize and the Mozart Prize in the Rostock “Music Prize 2006”. She has also played as a chamber music partner in various line-ups in Argentina and Germany.

In 2007 she won the " Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy Prize" and the chamber music prize of the "Friends of Young Musicians Germany" in the violin / piano duo with Emilio Peroni ; she recorded her first CD with the RBB . In February she graduated with honors; since then she has been studying for a postgraduate course at the HMT Rostock.

The year 2008 also began successfully with several concerts in France and Germany. a. as a soloist under the direction of Amaury du Closel . She was a finalist in the international “Vibrarte” competition in Paris and won 2nd prize at the Rostock “HMT Music Prize 2008” in the field of chamber music (duo violin / piano).

In September 2008, she won the "Foundation Cziffra" Paris, and in October she received the Izzy Fuhrmann Award of the Center for Verfemte music at the HMT Rostock, with the participation in the America Project of the Jeunesses Musicales from 16 to 27 April was associated with concerts in Los Angeles . In addition, Pauline was given a teaching position at the Rostock University of Music and Drama in the subject violin.

In 2009 she received a scholarship from the Yehudi Menuhin association “Live Music Now” and founded the “Bartholdy Trio” with Yasuko Sugimoto and Alexei Shestiperov. In October she passed her concert exam with distinction. She played as a soloist with the Hamburg Classical Philharmonic under the direction of Robert Stehli.

She was invited to several music festivals in Germany and France. a. to the "Festival Radio France et Montpellier Languedoc Roussillon". The concert in the Young Soloists category was broadcast live. Due to her chamber music experience, she was engaged for the festival in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania , where she played with the Fauré Quartet, the cellist Daniel Müller-Schott and the Quatuor Ebène.

She plays a violin made by Claude Pirot in 1806.
