Paulino Bernabe (born June 9, 1960 in Madrid ) is a Spanish guitar maker .

Life

Paulino Bernabe learned the art of classical guitar making from his father Paulino , a famous Spanish guitar maker , with whom he worked from the early 1980s until shortly before his death in 2007 and whose workshop he took over. In 2011 he founded the Spanish Guitar Foundation to preserve the legacy of Spanish guitar making and to promote young guitarists and guitar makers. The Spanish Guitar Foundation also has a collection of 19th and 20th century master guitars.

Paulino Bernabe's guitars are played by internationally known guitarists, including John Williams and Johanna Beisteiner .
