history

The newspaper was founded in 1875 by the Roman Catholic priest, publicist , publisher and politician of the Center Party , Georg Friedrich Dasbach , as the Sanct-Paulinus-Blatt (named after St. Paulinus von Trier ). It has been the Trier diocese newspaper since 1934 . The Paulinus is in the same publishing Paulinus relocated.
