Paulo Vargas

Paulo Vargas Barrantes (born November 8, 1979 ) is a former Costa Rican mountain bike and road cyclist .

Paulo Vargas was active as a cyclist from 1999 to 2013. In 2005 he was Costa Rican road racing champion , and in 2010 he was also cross country . In the course of his career he decided a total of eleven stages of the domestic Vuelta Ciclista a Costa Rica for himself. In July 2013 he was banned for two years for doping with the prohibited substance GW501516 (Endurobol).
