Paulo da Palma (born March 18, 1965 in Nordhorn ) is a former German - Portuguese soccer player .

Career

Da Palma began his career at Eintracht Nordhorn . In 1986 he moved to the upper division VfB Oldenburg , with whom he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga in 1990. This was followed by positions at VfL Osnabrück , for which he played 34 second division games. At the height of his career, he played with VfL Bochum in the Bundesliga . He brought it to ten games, in addition to 14 second division games.

Engagements at 1. FC Saarbrücken and FC 08 Homburg followed later .

Da Palma was known for its rough style of play, which was also reflected in a large number of cards. He received seven yellow cards in ten Bundesliga games. Altogether there were 45 yellow, three yellow-red and two red cards in 105 games in the first two national leagues.

Life

Paulo da Palma is married and has one son. He works as a physiotherapist. From 2005 to 2010 he was in the service of SV Sandhausen .
