Pavel Chaloupka (born May 4, 1959 in Most ) is a former Czechoslovak soccer player and current soccer coach .

Player career

Pavel Chaloupka played for CHZ Litvínov in his youth . He later moved to Sklo Union Teplice , for which he made his debut in the 1st Czechoslovak League in 1977.

From 1978 to 1980 the midfielder completed his military service for VTJ Tábor and Dukla Prague . In 1981 he moved to FC Bohemians Prague , to which he remained loyal until 1988. In 1982/83 he was the top scorer in the Czechoslovak League with 17 goals and thus made a large contribution to the club's championship win.

In 1989 Chaloupka moved to Fortuna Düsseldorf , scored five goals in 15 games and helped the Düsseldorfers to rise to the 1st Bundesliga. In the 1989/90 season he made 22 games in which he scored four goals.

After the end of his professional career Chaloupka played for SV Neuendorf in the district and district league.

National team

Chaloupka made 20 international matches for Czechoslovakia , including one against the English national team at the 1982 World Cup in Spain.

Coaching career

Pavel Chaloupka trained FK SIAD Most B in 2004/05 , AFK LoKo Chomutov in 2005/06 and has been assistant coach at FK Chmel Blšany since August 2006 .
