Pavel Pospíšil

Pavel Pospíšil (born March 20, 1944 in Zlín , Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia ) is a Czech-German chef.

Career

After training in the Czech Republic from 1958 , Pospíšil went to East Berlin to the government guest house .

In 1968 he went to West Berlin to the Hotel Seehof am Litzensee . Then he cooked in the Berlin Sportpalast and at Chamier-Film .

In the mid-1970s, he moved to the Stahlbad restaurant with Willi Schwank in Baden-Baden (two Michelin stars ). Then he passed the master craftsman examination in Brenners Park Hotel in Baden-Baden. He went to the Frankfurter Hof in Frankfurt am Main (one Michelin star) and became head chef in Bocksbeutel in Baden-Baden.

At the end of the 1970s, he set up his own restaurant Merkurius in Baden-Baden Varnhalt, which was awarded a Michelin star in 1980.

Since 1996 he has been self-employed at the Pospíšils Krone inn in Bühl -Oberbruch.
