Literature prize from the Eisenhüttenstadt Steel Foundation

The Eisenhüttenstadt Steel Foundation Literature Prize is a German literature prize that has been awarded since 2005. The prize, endowed with 10,000 euros, is awarded by the Eisenhüttenstadt Steel Foundation, which was founded in 2004 and promotes projects in the fields of art and culture, science and education in the region.

Goal setting

A special criterion for the selection of the award winners is a literary oeuvre that promotes tolerance and humanity.

The "Stahlstiftung Eisenhüttenstadt" was established in 2004 by EKO Stahl GmbH, today ArcelorMittal Eisenhüttenstadt .
