Pavel Weschinow

Pawel Weschinow , actually Nikola Deltschew Gugow , ( Bulgarian Павел Вежинов ; born November 22, 1914 in Sofia , † December 2, 1983 ibid) was a Bulgarian writer.

Life

Weschinow studied philosophy in Sofia from 1939 to 1944 . From November 1944 he worked as a front-line correspondent for the Bulgarian army fighting against Germany during World War II . In 1944 he also joined the Bulgarian Communist Party .

He wrote short stories, short stories and novels, including detective novels and utopian stories. Weschinow also wrote scripts. He was honored as a Hero of Socialist Labor and the Dimitrov Prize .
