Peacock Ridge is a mountain ridge in the East Antarctic Enderbyland . It rises between Mount Soucek and Mount Porteus in the northern part of the Tula Mountains .
It was mapped using aerial photographs taken by members of a team on the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions in 1956. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) named the ridge after David Peacock, Able Seaman on the RSS Discovery on the British Australian and New Zealand Antarctic Research Expedition (BANZARE, 1929-1931) under the direction of the Australian polar explorer Douglas Mawson .
