The Pecten Spur is a sharp-edged and rocky mountain ridge on the east side of the West Antarctic James Ross Island . It extends from the southern cliff of Jonkers Mesa in a south-easterly direction halfway between Ekelöf Point and Cape Gage on the north-western bank of Admiralty Street .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2006 after fossils of scallops of the genus Pecten found here .
