Pedro Flores
Pedro Flores (born April 26, 1896 in Vintar , Ilocos Norte , Philippines , † January 1964 in Coshocton County , Ohio , USA ) was a Filipino entrepreneur.
Life
In 1915, Flores came to the USA as an immigrant . He brought his yo-yo and started a yo-yo manufacturing company in 1928. Flores sold his company to Donald F. Duncan. In the 1930s he left Duncan, founded the Bandalore Company and started producing his own yo- yos again. After the Second World War he built the Chico Yo-Yo Company together with Joe Radovan.
The National Yo-Yo Museum is located in Chico , California . Pedro Flores is considered to be the first yo-yo guru.
