Pedro Hebenstreit (actually Erhard Hebenstreit , born November 27, 1926 in Meiningen , † December 11, 2009 in Berlin ) was a German ballet dancer and actor .

Life

Hebenstreit enjoyed training as a ballet dancer and actor. As a dancer, the Leipzig Opera House , where he was engaged as a solo dancer, and the German State Opera Berlin (here as the first character soloist ) were his most important places of activity. With the beginning of the 1960s he increased his work for television and film; initially as a dancer for TV recordings, later as an actor in numerous roles for the screen. There he was often cast as a southern character and in fairy tale films .
