Pedro Munitis Álvarez (born June 19, 1975 in Santander , Cantabria ) is a former Spanish football player .
Club career
Despite his short height of 170 cm, Pedro Munits is a successful striker on a national and international level. He came to Racing Santander in 1993 , where he stayed for seven years (apart from a rental business 1997-1998). In 2000 he moved to Real Madrid . He returned after two years and three titles before playing for Deportivo La Coruña from 2003 to 2006 .
National team
His achievements did not go unnoticed by the national coach and so Pedro Munitis completed a total of 21 games for the Spanish national team between 1999 and 2002 . He scored two goals.
