from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Pedro Pais (* 1956 ) is a former Uruguayan cyclist .

Life

Pais, who comes from the Salto Department , is said to have won the silver medal in the team time trial at the Juegos Cruz del Sur in Buenos Aires in 1982, together with Alcides Etcheverry , Federico Moreira and José Asconeguy . However, this contradicts the information provided by the Uruguayan National Olympic Committee (COU), which, alongside Federico Moreira and José Asconeguy, has the two cyclists Ricardo Rondán and Waldemar Correa as medal winners in this competition and does not even mention the participation of Pais. He took part in the Uruguayan team in the 1983 Pan American Games in Caracas . In the same year, the Pais , who started for the Club Ciclista Fénix , decided the stage race Rutas de América in his favor.
