Pedro Petiz
Jorge Pedro Galo Petiz (born October 29, 1986 in Porto ) is a former Portuguese racing driver . He is an older brother of the racing driver Tiago Petiz .
Career
Petiz began his motorsport career in karting and was active in this sport until 2003. In 2004, he made his in the Formula Baviera seater racing debut and ended his first season in eighth place. In 2005 he moved to the Renault Mégane Eurocup . After finishing thirteenth in 2005 and seventh in 2006, he won the championship title of the racing series in 2007. In 2008 Petiz competed in the Porsche Supercup . He finished 19th overall. In 2009 Petiz returned to formula racing and competed in the Superleague Formula . Starting for the Sporting Lisbon team supported by Zakspeed , he won a race in Monza . At the end of the season, his team finished twelfth in the championship.
Petiz has not competed in any racing series since 2010.
