Peer Frenzke

Peer Frenzke (* 1964 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German guitarist , music producer , teacher and author. He was guitarist and songwriter for the Ian Cussick band for nine years .

Career

Frenzke grew up in Freiburg im Breisgau and started playing guitar at the age of 13. Before his career as a professional guitarist, he studied music education at the University of Oldenburg . He owns his own studio, the "Petersbergstudio", and is the father of two children. Some time ago he was named guitar king on the lg-scene website.

At first he played in various top 40, blues-rock, soul-funk, country and big bands with many national and international concerts as well as TV and radio appearances.

At the end of the 1990s there was a collaboration with the singer and composer Ian Cussick. They worked together first in the studio and then in the Ian Cussick band for nine years. During this time Frenzke composed many songs together with Cussick.

Frenzke is the director of the "LZ 1st Class Session"; events are held there every month in Lüneburg, Uelzen, Hamburg and Gifhorn clubs. The 1st class session always works with new bands made up of top musicians. In the 1st class session, Peer Frenzke worked with artists such as Bobby Kimball , Carl Verheyen, Achim Degen, Max Mutzke, Gregor Meyle, Ingo Pohlmann, Johannes Oerding, Alex Auer, Alexander Klaws, Andrew Roachford, Ania Jools, Cosmo Klein, Dirk Erchinger, Edo Zanki, Emma Lanford, Gregor Hilden, Julia Neigel, Karl Frierson, Kosho, TM Stevens, Tobias Regner, Schné, Thomas Blug, Tiffany Kirkland, Raoul Walton, Ralf Gustke, Ron Williams, Samy Jones, Mike Leon Grosch, Bo Heart, Stefan Stoppok, Jenniffer Kae, Frank Itt, Athanasios "ZACKY" Tsoukas, Cassandra Steen and many more.

Apart from his career as a professional guitarist, he is also a special school teacher with a focus on music lessons in rock-pop at the Oberschule in Uelzen, specialist seminar leader music at the study seminar for special education in Lüneburg, member of the round table for the pop meeting in Lower Saxony, was a member of the commission in MK for the development of the guidelines for bachelor's and master's degree courses in music and is a member of the core curriculum committee for music in the MK and developed the book / concept “Band ohne Noten” with two co-authors, Robert Hinz and Remmer Kruse, which forms the basis of a project with music schools. Since the winter semester 2014/2015: Lecturer for class music making rock-pop, band coaching and supervision of the practical phase as part of GHR 300.
