Pehunko is a small town in northern Benin in the Atakora department on the road connecting Natitingou and Parakou . Most of the approx. 2,000 inhabitants are Bariba or Fulbe . Near Pehunko there is the medicinal herb garden Guson, which is maintained by a local healer association .
