The Pelhamer See is a dead lake in the area of the Bad Endorf district of Pelham in the district of Rosenheim in Bavaria . It is part of the Eggstätt-Hemhofer lake district .
Location and description
The Pelhamer See is located in the very north of the lake district and the nature reserve. It has an oval shape and is comparatively flat. The lake is divided into a basin five meters deep in the north and a main basin up to 21 meters deep. On the bank there is a wide belt of reed areas , around it mainly silting areas and litter meadows .
On the west bank of the Pelhamer See there is a bathing beach with a lido.
