The Ischler Achen is a river in the districts of Rosenheim and Traunstein in Upper Bavaria. It rises as Zunhamer Bach a little northwest of Höslwang -Weiher in the forest and flows under changing names only southeast towards the Eggstätt-Hemhofer lake plateau , from whose still waters it runs through the Pelhamer See and then the Hartsee . The little south of it lie from the outlet from the last Eggstätt to draws then to its mouth north-east, first under the name Wöhrachen for smaller Eschauer lake now and then as Ischler Achen on through the Weitenmoos and Roitham (Seebruck) over to Alz , which it reaches after crossing the eponymous church village of Ischl in the municipality of Seeon-Seebruck between Alz kilometers 58 and 59.
Below Roitham, the left bank partially touches an impact slope . The length of the water is given as 17.65 km.
The Ischler Achen in the Hartsee takes on the runoff of several other lakes in the Eggstätt-Hemhofer Seenplatte to the south-west and south of it, and then in the Eschenauer See the Lienseeachen, which previously passed through the Hofsee east and the Liensee northeast of Eggstätt.
Characteristics
The Ischler Achen flows calmly and with a slight gradient. Their sandy sediment is fine-grained. Various types of mussels occur in the stream bed, including one of the largest river mussel deposits in Bavaria.
