Penelope Mitchell (born July 24, 1991 in Melbourne ) is an Australian actress .

Life

Mitchell, the daughter of a French mother and an Australian, grew up with two older brothers in Australia. She is a cousin of actress Radha Mitchell . Mitchell took ballet lessons from the age of four and practiced it for twelve years. She attended Melbourne University to study law, but completed her undergraduate degree in arts in media communication . She then moved to Los Angeles to devote herself to acting.

During her studies, she starred in several short films in Australian productions and was seen in one episode each of the Australian television series Rush and Offspring . When she moved to the United States , she got a role on the Hemlock Grove series . She gained greater fame for her role as Liv Parker in the television series The Vampire Diaries .

In 2018 and 2019 she worked as a supporting cast in various television films but also in blockbusters like Hellboy - Call of Darkness .
