The Penguin Beach ( English for penguin beach ) is a beach on the southwest coast of the Antarctic Franklin Island . It is located northwest of Bernacchi Head and is the site of a colony of Adelie penguins .
A team of the Discovery Expedition (1901-1904) led by the British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott collected penguin eggs and geological samples here on January 4, 1904.
