Pentscho Penew Kubadinski ( Bulgarian Пенчо Пенев Кубадински ; born July 27, 1918 in Losnitsa , † May 22, 1995 in Plovdiv ) was a Bulgarian politician .

Life

He joined the Bulgarian Communist Party in 1940 . During the Second World War he was the leader of a partisan detachment . From 1957 he belonged to the Central Committee , from 1966 to the Politburo of his party. From 1958 to 1962 he held the position of Secretary of the Central Committee. In 1962 he became Minister for Transport, and in 1966 Minister for Construction and Architecture. During his time as minister from 1962 to 1974 he was also deputy chairman of the Council of Ministers . From 1974 he was then chairman of the National Council of the Fatherland Front.

He was awarded the Order of Georgi Dimitrov and a Hero of Socialist Work .
