The Peoples Rocks are a group of small islands off the south coast of Anvers Island in the Palmer Archipelago west of the Antarctic Peninsula . They are located northeast of Norsel Point in Wylie Bay .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named her in 1998 after Ann Peoples, who worked in various functions in Antarctica between 1981 and 1996 , including being the first woman to manage the Palmer Station from 1991 to 1996 .
