The Periscope GmbH is a mid-size German service company of electronics manufacturing ( electronics manufacturing services (EMS)) with location in the North Rhine Westphalian Paderborn . The company emerged from the Flextronics group on June 16, 2014 .

history
The electronics manufacturing facility in Paderborn has its roots in Heinz Nixdorf . The Paderborn entrepreneur founded the Laboratory for Impulse Technology in Essen in 1952 , and moved its headquarters to Paderborn in 1959. This resulted in Nixdorf Computer AG in April 1968 .
In 1974 the construction of the production plant began on the former lower Frankfurter Weg, today's Heinz-Nixdorf-Ring. In the course of the following ten years, the entire building complex was completed, which in the 1970s was even awarded the architecture prize for industrial buildings.
Four years after the death of the visionary Heinz Nixdorf in 1986, Nixdorf Computer AG was largely bought up by Siemens. On October 1, 1990, this resulted in " Siemens Nixdorf Informationssysteme AG ". In the following eight years the shareholding increased and Siemens Nixdorf Informationssysteme AG was integrated into Siemens AG . As the first company in Europe, Paderborn electronics production has been using ball grid arrays (BGA) in mass production since 1994 .
As a joint venture between the two parent companies Fujitsu and Siemens, Siemens Nixdorf Informationssysteme became " Fujitsu Siemens Computers " (FSC) on October 1, 1999 . Both parent companies were each 50% involved. In 2009 Siemens sold its shares in FSC to Fujitsu.
Part of the Paderborn location was bought up on January 1st, 2000 by the international electronics group Flextronics International Germany GmbH & Co KG. The Paderborn production site was thus embedded in a globally operating group that operates locations in North and South America, Asia, Europe and North Africa, and since then has also offered external production as a service for other companies. Previously, only pure in-house solutions were produced for the specially developed products.
The German Flextronics Germany Holding GmbH was sold to the investor group 4K Invest in summer 2014 . After the operational subsidiary Flextronics International Germany GmbH & Co. KG was added, the company has been trading as Periscope GmbH since June 16, 2014.
In an asset deal , the activities of Periscope GmbH were officially taken over by the ROB Cemtrex Group since June 1, 2016. The two companies were founded:
