Perse
The nymph perse or Perseis ( ancient Greek Πέρση or Περσηίς ) is a daughter of Okeanos and Tethys and thus the 3000 Okeaniden . She is considered the Greek goddess of the new moon and thus represents the counterpart to Selene , the goddess of the full moon . In part, Perse is seen as identical to the magical Hecate , in accordance with the transmission of magical powers to some of her children.
Perse is married to Helios (or Apollo ) and the mother of Kirke , Pasiphae , Aietes , Perses and (not according to Homer's version) Kalypso .
