Persephone's Dream is an American progressive rock and metal band from Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania that was formed in 1993.
history
The band was formed in late 1993 by Rowen Poole and Chris Siegle. Together they began to write the first songs, which resulted in the 1997 debut album Evening Mirage . In 1999 the second album Moonspell followed , which 2001 Opposition joined. In 2004, work began on the next album, which was released in May 2007 under the name Pyre of Dreams . Colleen Gray and Heidi Engel could be heard as new singers on the album. In addition, DC Cooper was to be heard as a guest singer on two songs. The publication followed various appearances in the USA.
style
The band plays progressive rock and metal and can in some places be compared to bands like The Gathering , Ayreon or Dream Theater .
