Personnel care

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Personal care is a service function of human resources , also known as Personal Service or as employee support is called. It includes advice and support for staff in the company . This function is not mentioned in all standard works of human resource management and is defined differently in the literature. It is not only a task of the HR department , but also relates to the duty of care of every supervisor with regard to his employees. The reasons for personnel care are legal, collective bargaining agreements or voluntary (e.g. to promote work ethic) in nature.

A basic distinction is made between the following types of personnel support:

  • Social care, e.g. B. Company doctor, social welfare
  • Material supply, e.g. B. Workwear
  • Material approval, e.g. B. Brokerage of a company apartment
  • Use of material assets, e.g. B. Company vehicle
  • Services, e.g. B. Personnel Maintenance
  • Information, e.g. B. Social Security Regulations
  • Intangible benefits, e.g. B. Medical service.

The measures range from administrative support through regulations of the General Equal Treatment Act , return talks , integration management to support after bullying .
