The so-called plague chapel is located at the end of Probstried in the direction of Haldenwang in the Oberallgäu district in Bavaria. The chapel is a listed building.

The gable of the small chapel bears an inscription that the chapel was built in 1649. The chapel was restored in 1839, 1894 and 1929. The chapel is designed as a rectangular building with a gable roof . Inside there is a figure of St. Rochus from the 19th century. In addition, three repeatedly renewed wooden panels are attached. These show the crucifixion with St. Rochus and St. Antony, St. Cornelius and St. Cyprian , as well as Our Lady on the third wooden panel .

In the roof gable of the chapel there is a notice board with the following text:

Monument v. the 30-year or so-called Swedish War which began in 1618 a. ended in 1648 with the Swedes devastating all of Germany. Here a man had saved his life and his belongings; Because from here to Haldenwang there was a wilderness, he had the confidence to call on God for help and he had chosen the holy patron saint Rochus as intercessor and made a chapel with the vow of gratitude.
Renewed in 1839 by Michael Zink Schmiedmeister in honor of St. Roch a. Holy Immaculate Conception Mary. Renewed again in 1894 by Frz. Josef Zink master blacksmith. Renewed again in 1929 by Josef Heumoos Schmiedmeister.
