The Pet River is a river in the northwest of the Australian state of Tasmania .
geography
River course
The river has its source around four kilometers south of the small town of Highclere , around three kilometers northeast of the Guide Reservoir . From there it flows to the north-northeast and flows through the Pet Reservoir near the small town of Ridgley . About four kilometers north-northeast of the city it flows into the Emu River .
