Petar Juric
Petar Jurić (born February 17, 1961 ) is a Serbian - German basketball coach .
career
Jurić was head coach of the men's team at USC Freiburg in the 2nd basketball league from 1993 and led the USC to promotion to the basketball league in 1997 . After the success he moved to SV Oberelchingen for the 1997/98 season , which he coached in the Bundesliga and in the European Cup. As in Freiburg, Jurić was also active in youth work in Oberelchingen. 1999 ended his tenure there when the team was withdrawn from the top German division. In the run-up to the 1999/2000 game year, he took over the coaching position at Bundesliga club SSV ratiopharm Ulm , but was dismissed in early October 1999 after an unsuccessful start to the season.
From 2003 to 2006 he worked as the head coach of the women's Bundesliga team at USC Freiburg , before the 2006/07 season he switched to the men within the USC and took on the post of head coach in the 2nd Bundesliga in a second term. He remained in office until the end of the 2007-08 season.
During the 2010/11 season Jurić was employed as a coach at the Qatari club Al Araby.
