Pete Herman (actually Peter Gulotta * 12. February 1896 in New Orleans ; † 13. April 1973 ) was an American boxer in the bantamweight .

Professional career

He started his career in 1912. On January 9, 1917, he boxed against Kid Williams for the universal world championship and won by unanimous decision. He lost this belt on August 15, 1919 to Jackie Sharkey on points.

In 1922 "Kid Herman" ended his career after 142 fights out of 100 wins.
